What Bed Bug Products Do You Need?
NEW! JT Eaton KILLS BED BUGS PLUS AEROSOL (black label) is a water based, ready to use bed bug spray with Permethrin and Pyrethrin as the active ingredients. Professionals use KILLS BED BUGS PLUS because it has 12 weeks of residuals. This means the when the water evaporates, there will be a microscopic film which will continue to kill bed bugs for 12 weeks. This product offers a quick kill and can also be used as a preventative treatment. This product is effective on pyrethroid resistant bed bugs, and can be applied directly to a mattress and other areas around the home.
JT Eaton KILLS BED BUGS AND CRAWLING INSECTS POWDER (green label) is a Diatomaceous Earth powder that kills bedbugs and other labeled pests. Insects never become resistant to this product, and it has residual properties that will last indefinitely when the powder is kept dry. Professionals use this product because it will kill bed bugs as long as the product is visible by cutting the exoskeleton and dehydrating the insects. This product can be applied to places where liquid based chemicals cannot be used such as in electric sockets or expensive picture frames.
JT Eaton KILLS BED BUGS (red label) is an oil based, ready to use, natural pyrethrum bed bug spray that quickly knocks down infestations. Professionals use this because bed bugs have no resistance to this product and there are no residuals. This means that when the oil evaporates, the active ingredients also evaporate. This formula also contains a “flushing agent” that causes bed bugs to leave their hiding places and scatter, which increases the likelihood that they will come in contact with the insecticide. This product, along with our other bed bug killers can be applied directly to a mattress and other areas around the home.
JT Eaton KILLS BED BUGS II (blue label) is a water based, ready to use, bed bug killer with Deltamethrin as the active ingredient. It may take up to a day to kill a bed bug because the water base of the insecticide cannot penetrate the waxy surface of the insect’s surface as quickly as the oil in the KILLS BED BUGS (red label), but there is residual protection with at water based product. This low odor product can be applied directly to a mattress and other areas around the home.
JT Eaton KILLS BED BUGS, TICKS AND MOSQUITOES (yellow label) is a water based, ready to use, bed bug killer with Permethrin, as the active ingredient. It may take up to a day to kill a bed bug because the water base of the insecticide cannot penetrate the waxy surface of the insect’s surface as quickly as the oil in the KILLS BED BUGS (red label). This is the only product that is labeled for clothing, luggage, camping gear and more to kill and repel a wide variety of insects listed on the label. This product can be applied directly to clothing, luggage and camping gear along with a mattress and other areas around the home.
JT Eaton LOCK-UP® Total Mattress, Box Spring and Pillow Encasements are more than just a bed bug control device. They are bed bug proof, water proof, dust mite proof and hypoallergenic. These premium encasements will protect the investment of the bed by locking out bed bugs. JT Eaton LOCK-UP® Encasements work in two ways:
1. Preventative: If used before an infestation begins; the encasements will prevent bed bugs from hiding in mattresses and box springs, thus allowing them to be killed easier on other surfaces.
2: Should a bed bug infestation occur, consumers can use JT Eaton LOCK-UP® Encasement products to contain and eliminate the bed bug infestation. There could be eggs deep within the mattress which would hatch some time later. The LOCK-UP® will ensure that the bed bugs cannot get out of the mattress to infest the room or touch the consumer.
How Do I Treat My Home For Bed Bugs?
Clean the room. Start by removing your bed linens and laundering them in hot water. (If bedding cannot be washed, heat in dryer at highest heat for at least twenty minutes.) Wash and dry clothes and place them in black trash bags and seal them to control any bed bugs, (eggs, larvae and adults) until you have sprayed the room. Remove clutter and vacuum everywhere because crevices that are free from particles will be better able to accept insecticides. Don’t forget to empty your vacuum immediately after into a plastic, sealable bag so the trapped bedbugs do not reinfest your home.
Dismantle everything! When the room is down to the basic furniture, remove drawers from desks and dressers and take apart bed frames. These actions can expose bedbug hideouts. Use JT EATON KILLS BEDBUGS (Red Label) on suspected areas, including mattresses, box springs, wall-ceiling joints, baseboards, behind and underneath furniture, cushions and furnishings. Make sure you get the seams of the mattress and box springs.
Use JT EATON KILLS BEDBUGS AND CRAWLING INSECTS POWDER (Green Label) in the areas where a liquid cannot be used. This Diatomaceous Earth powder made from freshwater diatoms will offer long-lasting protection against these tiny pests. Re-apply if product becomes wet. Don’t forget to treat openings where pipes and wires penetrate the floor or walls (around electrical outlets, cracks in the baseboards or door frames for example). Then seal openings with caulk.
Prefer water base product? JT EATON KILLS BEDBUGS II (Blue Label) is a synthetic pyrethroid that acts as a deterrent to invading bedbugs. Or, try the new JT EATON KILLS BEDBUGS PLUS AEROSOL (Black Label) that provides quick knockdown and up to 12 weeks residual protection. These products can be used on mattresses and other furnishings, as well as your home’s interior perimeter.
Prevent reinfestation! Try the new JT EATON KILLS BEDBUGS PLUS AEROSOL (Black Label). This spray can be used to prevent infestations with up to 12 weeks of residual protection. Don’t forget to LOCK-UP® your Mattress, Box Spring and Pillow! LOCK-UP® Encasements will protect the investment of the bed by locking out bed bugs. There could be eggs deep within the mattress which would hatch some time later. The LOCK-UP® Encasements will ensure that the bed bugs cannot get out of the mattress to reinfest the room.
*A common way for homes to become infested is through bedbugs that arrive via the seams of your luggage when returning from a trip. Reduce that risk to your home by using JT EATON KILLS BEDBUGS, TICKS AND MOSQUITOES (Yellow Label) on your suitcase and other Travel items for up to 6 weeks of protection.
